New PAVI Turkish Restaurant To Donate All Opening Day Proceeds To Earthquake Zone

A new Turkish restaurant that is set to open in PAVI tomorrow has announced it will donate all the proceeds from its opening day to help Turkey deal with the aftermath of a deadly earthquake.

Posh Turkish is launching a new restaurant at the popular Qormi supermarket at noon tomorrow, its sixth outlet in Malta, and the donation announcing was made by its owner Erdal Kara.

Meanwhile, several people have answered the Turkish embassy’s call for donations. The embassy announced that the first batch of donations has already been shipped, and shipments will continue every day.

“We would like to thank all our volunteers, the Turkish community and our Maltese and Gozitan friends for their kind donations,” the embassy said.
